The personnel is very friendly and courteous! The food tastes great and the atmosphere is very cozy, so that we would come back anytime. Great restaurant !!

Good service begins with the reception of guests and ends with the farewell. If you notice the guest late, do not take the order as requested and only half of it arrives, then this is a disappointing experience. If the second part of the order also looks as if it landed carelessly and effortlessly on the plate, the disappointment is great. If you have the feeling that not every guest is treated equally, because only the next table is asked whether "everything is ok", then this is unprofessional and unfriendly. If no card payment has worked for weeks and you keep being told this, it's embarrassing (for the restaurant)! And if the service, although the card payment does not work, thinks they have to explain to the guest that this is only possible from 20 euros onwards, then this is a cheek.

The food is delicious and the waitresses are friendly. But almost 1 hour for dessert waiting is a bit tough.

As usual it was great again. Took a roast beef again. I don't get that at home.

The small restaurant is really nicely located. In summer you can sit outside between the trees, which is really idyllic. The service was very friendly and the food was there quickly and tasted very good. I particularly recommend the tarte flambée here. We'll be back soon

In the quiet, shady Kastanienhof you can spoil yourself with good plain food. Good value for money and brisk and friendly staff. The homemade potato salad is excellent and therefore worth mentioning. Gladly again!!

It was a very nice find this restaurant, the location is beautiful behind a church with the Kastanien trees in the outside and a very cozy and authentic decor. I tried the Angus beef Rumpsteak with butter (kräuterbutter), a salad and Pommes-frites, it was really enjoyable. However the surprise of the evening was the desert, vanilla ice cream with homemade orange chutney very zesty but sweet, fresh and creamy really surprising combination that I will definitely want to try again.

Were today in the old rectory in Brötzingen. It was perfect! Friendly service and the food was excellent. Onion roast and chicken breast fillet with salad and the grandparents each with French fries and spaetzle.
